The inventory reports (Insights > Inventory, which need the Inventory Reports feature) help you keep the right stock on the shelf and spot problems early.
| Report | What it helps you do |
|---|---|
| Inventory Usage | See store-level usage: quantities sold, quantities on hand and item activity. |
| Inventory Re-order Usage | Plan re-orders from usage trends, quantity on hand and weekly history. |
| Inventory Receiving | Check what was received: quantities, vendor and dates. |
| Inventory Transfers | Track items moved between stores: quantities, where from and where to. |
| Inventory Adjustments | Review quantity changes and corrections. |
| Inventory Cost Variance | Find differences between the agreed cost and the unit cost of items sold. |
| Obsolete Inventory | Identify obsolete items to support write-downs and replenishment decisions. |
| Wildcard | Find invoices with wildcard items and their vendor cost, customer price and vendor invoice reference. |
A weekly routine
- Run Inventory Re-order Usage to decide what to order.
- After deliveries, check Inventory Receiving against your vendor invoices.
- Review Inventory Adjustments and Inventory Transfers for anything unexpected.
- Each month, review Inventory Cost Variance and Obsolete Inventory.
