Operations Overview is the first page you see after you sign in. It shows how your stores are doing, live for today and for longer periods, so you can spot a problem while there is still time to act on it.
The four tiles
| Tile | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Sales | Net sales for the period. |
| Vehicles | The number of vehicles serviced. |
| Ticket Average | Net sales per vehicle. |
| Labor % | Labor cost as a percentage of sales. Lower is better, so a falling Labor % is shown as an improvement. |
Each tile compares the period with the same period last year, shows a small trend line, and gives a one-line reading of the trend (for example "Sales holding steady"). See How KPI Insights Are Determined for how the readings are worked out.
Choose the period
- Today is live: it updates through the day and is compared with the same time of day last year, so a half-finished day is not compared with a whole one.
- MTD is month to date, Last Month is the previous full month, and YTD is year to date.
- Retail or Calendar chooses how last year is lined up with this year: by the retail calendar (weeks line up) or by calendar dates.
The line under the title tells you what you are looking at, for example "Today (live) - 8 reporting - 8 comparable - Retail": how many stores have reported data, how many have last-year data to compare with, and the comparison basis.
Keep it fresh
- Refresh reloads the numbers now. "Data updated 1 minute ago" shows how old they are.
- Auto refreshes the page for you. Choose 2, 5, 10 or 30 minutes, or Off. This is useful when the dashboard is up on a screen all day.
- Save as my default saves your current view settings as your starting view next time.
