Accessing the Management Toolbox Data Warehouse (Excel)

In order to gain access to your data warehouse, your Management Toolbox administrator will need to request access by contacting Support@MGTechGroup.com.

Once you have access, you can follow these steps to create an ODBC connection to your Management Toolbox Archive database.

1. Click Start and type ODBC
2. Open the ODBC Data Sources (32-bit) application
   
3. On the User DNS tab, click Add
   
   
   
4. Select SQL Server and click Finish
   
   
   
5. Assign a name, enter a description and SQL320.MGCLD.COM,XXXXX as the Server where XXXXX is your port number. NOTE: do not forget the comma.
   
   
   
6. Click Next
7. Select With SQL Sever authentication
   Check the Connect to SQL Server box
   Enter your credentials
   
8. Click Next
9. Leave the defaults and click Next
   
   
   
10. Leave the defaults and click Finish
    
    
11. Click Test Data Source...
    
    
    
12. Verify the connection is successful and click OK
    
    
    
13. Click OK
    
    
    
14. Click OK to close the ODBC window, your connection is setup and available to use.
